Dear Kittens,
1. If you are thinking to yourself, that Catie should be in bed right now- I do not disagree. I should've been in bed two hours ago. But here I am, awake. I'm wondering if maybe this not being able to sleep that great is somehow hormonally related? Anyway, despite being tired, I am not all about sleeping right now which is a big, big bummer.
2. I love taking Murray to play with his friends, but the bad part about doggy play date is that there are a lot of motherfucking mosquitoes out there and they love Baby Catie more than anything else in the entire world. I am lucky enough to not only be the favorite of mosquitoes, but to be allergic to their bite so that I swell up extra super big whenever I get bit and the itching is AMAZING. Almost always I scratch a mosquito bite until it bleeds. Anyway, so I finally started using bug spray, which does a pretty good job of keeping the mosquitoes off of me, but now I'm covered in a horrible chemical that says right on the package THIS IS A HORRIBLE CHEMICAL. Gah!
3. I am so looking forward to tomorrow. Firstly, it's manicure and pedicure day. Secondly, it's take yourself out for a sushi lunch day. Thirdly, it's go to the market to get delicious foods for the weekend day. Fourthly, it's go get your boat out of storage and it ready for summer day. Fifthly, it's take your puppy on a long walk day. Yeah, okay- you get the picture. I'm planning on a great day. Yipee!
4. Now I've got to go wash this horrible chemical off all the parts I sprayed it on and then I go to the bed and hopefully I rock the sleeping party. If I don't, then I will read and either way it will be time well spent.
Love,
Catie
Sorry to hear about your mosquito problem. I have a recipe for do it yourself mosquito repellent, a friend of mine loves to camp up in the wild north of Canada and last summer she was pregnant and couldn't use that horrible chemical so she found a recipe for do it yourself repellent and from what I understand it worked pretty good.
You can find the recipe here

I'm going to be making up some for my youngest son because he's allergic as well and for reasons that are too lengthy to go into here, he can't use the horrible chemicals.
Have fun on your manicure & pedicure/treat yourself to sushi lunch/getting tasty food/get boat out/enjoy long walk with pup Day.
